Your Data Rights and Complaints
Last updated: 6 November 2026
This page explains how to use your data protection rights with GoPro Consultants Ltd, trading as GoPro IT Consultants, and how to complain if you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your personal data.
Make a request
Email sales@goproconsultant.com with the subject “Data protection request”, call +44 20 3868 3988, or write to Office 3.5 Stanley House, Stanley Business Centre, Crawley, West Sussex, RH10 9SE, United Kingdom. You don’t need to use special wording, and you can also ask through any other way you normally contact us.
It helps if you tell us:
- your name and how we can reach you
- how you’ve dealt with us, for example as an applicant, engineer, client or website visitor
- which right you want to use, and what data it concerns
Your rights
| Right | What it means |
|---|---|
| Access | Get a copy of your personal data and information about how we use it |
| Correction | Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected |
| Erasure | Have your data deleted in certain circumstances, for example when we no longer need it |
| Restriction | Ask us to limit how we use your data while a concern is looked at, or in other set circumstances |
| Portability | Receive data you gave us in a commonly used digital format, or have it sent to another organisation, where we use it by automated means based on consent or contract |
| Objection | Object to use based on legitimate interests. You can stop direct marketing at any time |
| Automated decisions | Ask for a person to review a significant decision made only by automated means, and challenge it |
| Withdraw consent | Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is our basis for using your data |
Some rights have limits. For example, we may have to keep invoices for tax purposes even if you ask us to delete them. If we can’t do what you ask, we’ll explain why.
What happens next
- Identity check. If we need to confirm who you are, we’ll ask only for what’s reasonably needed. If someone is acting for you, we’ll check they’re authorised.
- Response time. We reply without undue delay, and normally within one month. Complex or multiple requests can take up to two months longer, and we’d tell you within the first month.
- Cost. It’s normally free. We may charge a reasonable fee or refuse if a request is clearly unfounded or excessive, and we’d explain why.
- Search. For access requests, we carry out a reasonable and proportionate search.
Make a complaint to us
You can complain to us if you think we haven’t followed data protection law with your personal data. Use the contact details above, or any other way you normally reach us.
- We’ll acknowledge your complaint within 30 days of receiving it.
- We’ll look into it without undue delay, in a way that suits how complex it is and how it affects you.
- We’ll keep you updated, and may ask for more information if we need it.
- We’ll tell you the outcome without undue delay.
We keep a record of each complaint and how it was handled.
